About this game
Gilgamesh Enkidu and the Netherworld is a 2025 Game Boy platformer game by billgamesh.
Follow Enkidu as he travels to the netherworld to retrieve Gilgamesh’s beloved toys: the Mekku and Pukku (or Ellag and Ekidma). Enkidu will have to brave his afterlife, encountering perils and gaining knowledge about the world after death. Will he succeed? This game is an interpretation of an ancient story. Before the Epic of Gilgamesh was compiled, there were many stories about Gilgamesh. This story was often included in the epic, despite not really fitting in with the overall narrative arc.
