About this game
Race for the PS9 is a 2025 Game Boy action game by gerzytet, Joserichi, Val.
Story: The highly anticipated Playstation 9 just came out, and nearly sold out within minutes of launch. There's only one left in stock at a store 3 galaxies away. Your annoying neighbor just left to go buy it, but you are determined to overtake him and get the console for yourself. Why are there enemy spaceships shooting at you during the trip? Because this is SPACE, of COURSE there are enemy spaceships. How to Play: Your goal is to beat the clock. If the time is positive at the end of the game (level 3-3), you win. You start 1 minute behind and must catch up to win the race!
Browser controls: X fire right weapon / confirm; Z fire left weapon / back; Arrow keys move ship / menu navigation; Enter start game.

Quick tips
How to Play: Your goal is to beat the clock.
Shop Items: Each side of the ship carries one weapon.
Charge shot: hold down the attack button to charge a powerful, piercing energy ball Spread shot: very fast fire rate, but inaccurate.
Tips: The shop has a randomized selection, but the warp drive is always there if it's not at max level.
